by flexibility, i meant mainly that the AI Developer would have many different options of what they chose to make the AI do.
Thats an interesting point about the game rules. Having not coded any c-evo AI yet, i was under the impression that you Could figure out everything such as building effects etc. within the code. However, if you cant, an external file containing this information would be probably the best way of doing things.
