Version 1: Delaying Engineers doing Terrain improvements... =(

: The terrain improvements are delayed to the end of the turn. As far as I know, this is supposed to be an interface improvement, but not a rules change. Due to this change the rules are more restrictive and less clear however.

This is by FAR the worst development in Version 1, actually Version 1 is very nice, the extra tile visuals rock!

This v1 change needs attention and a fix, it is because of this change that settlers/engineers cannot work with and act with the other units!

Other units can attack immediately in the turn, so why did it get changed that building & improvements cannot happen till the next turn??

An example: Let's just say that for some blind reason a key Oversized unit gets it's ass stuck next to certain death on a non-roaded tile... Well, in the the old 0.14.x days we send in the Army Corps/SeaBees and build the darn road under that unit's dead stuck ass and good'ol Shin Wonder brings that unit home safe! I can't tell you how 'wonderful' that is! But now, in v1 you send in the Enginners and they work there asses off and they are stuck too! All dead, and for what!? They cannot work together, red tape perhaps, in-fighting perhaps, but by the next turn they are probably all DEAD. Really lame v1 change i say. IMHO. =(
