Jungle fever...

: 1) I really liked the destination indicators in Version1.1st, but after some debate Steffen removed the clicking needed at the end of each turn in Version1.2nd, i had hoped to see this have a toggle in the options b/c i really liked having that happen to the units so i could see unit go on at each turn...

Not me! It made no difference except a micro-managing nightmare on each turn. It sure is a "nice" perspective view on what's happening but i found it annoying to be forced into confirming everything in stages. As i explained earlier, this type of function could be VERY usefull if some waypoint type of movement phases can be used for coordinated attacks towards a single enemy stacked tile (or many targets, btw).

: 2) I did like the change to Engineers in hostile terrain, but i did not like the change to their terrain improvement...

Simple balancing power added to the strong unit itself. Don't forget "real" terraforming is a tough act to perform and needs huge resources. It makes sense.

: 3) Who has seen and appreaciated the new Jungle resources and new Help pages?

Fantastic stuff. Just the jungle tiles give more depth to the map variety and the newest manual is absolutely amazing; more coherent, search function, well structured, good info, slick interface... the works.

So far, so good. :)

But, i doubt we'll ever get to see an entirely new economy (trade) system or even some sort of nuclear weaponry like effective missiles (and relevant to this game's principles of strategy.) against air or ground units.

It's alright... the essential is there already.

I still would want true helicopters, though. ;)
