3) Enable Windows Remote Desktop
4) Disable Sleep/Hibernate on the system
5) Consider changing the default port to another port number

Guess this is a workable way to do multi-user, what we'd need in addition is an automatic way of notifying the next players turn, maybe a code mod or hook into the code could be done by someone...
Perhaps an additional forum could start announcing players wanting games and servers offering games to them. =)
