: Unfortunately I am an empire-builder and don't really enjoy this way of playing, but given that the strengths of defensive unit are capped against offensive unit I guess this is an inevitable outcome. I hope that the coming version can make a better balance for alternative playing styles.
You may like loading a mix of AIs to change the dynamics a fair bit, Capital AI is a good neighbor btw. ;)
